Matt Vocino, Host of PowerHockey Canada’s podcast Inside The Crease, will host a special live edition looking into the world of hockey. The conversation will cover topics including getting involved in the sport, inclusion, and finding a passion for hockey.

Inside The Crease is hosted by Matt Vocino. Being a powerhockey player himself, he’s able to connect with each guest on a different level, sharing their mutual passion and common experiences. As a person who has Muscular Dystrophy, Matt is able to relate to the lives and challenges his fellow community members face both on and off the floor. Coupling his love for hockey and his ability to connect with others enables Matt to deliver an engaging and honest conversation that captures his guests’ truest personalities. At the age of 24, Matt has a degree in Sports Media from Ryerson University in Toronto, Ontario and is currently pursuing a law degree at York University’s Osgoode Hall. Matt has a definite passion for sports, music, and good food.

Claire began her career in women’s para hockey at the age of 12. This passion for hockey has ultimately led to 6 seasons on the Canadian National Team where she has won 2 Women's Para Hockey World Cups (2014, 2018). In 2019, Claire was named Assistant Captain of the team. Off the ice you’ll find Claire behind the mic as broadcaster of the podcast The Neutral Zone as well as a mom of a 3 ½ year old son. As an advocate for equality in sport, female representation, and a voice for the disabled community, Claire’s dream is to help get women’s para hockey to the Paralympics.
